It’s a feeling of satisfaction and liberation, empowering us to embrace our true selves, regardless of societal expectations or cultural pressures. Pride can be a journey of self-discovery which can lead to greater self-esteem and overall physical, social and emotional well-being.” – Dan Singh
About 50+ HangOuts
50+ HangOuts is a twice-monthly friendly and welcoming online social and support group for all older LGBTQ+ people. We understand that the importance of meeting other LGBTQ+ people and we want to create a safe and welcoming space together to get to know each other. The group is open to anyone LGBTQ+ aged 50 and over.
- We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month 6-8pm
- Please try to arrive 5 minutes early. The Zoom room closes at 6.10pm. This is so we minimize any disruption.
