American Board of Sexology® Certification Process
The renewal process with the American Board of Sexology is basically the same as applying for the first time, but without the wait for Board approval. Upon renewal, you will get the quick verification of your information and processed within less than 48 hours.
Changes have been made with the American Board of Sexology and certification renewals. All certifications are to be renewed each year upon the date of when you received it or the date of the last renewal process. This was changed back in 2017 by the Board to lower the time frame between authentications of certified members. The Board also approved in 2022 for certified members and applicants to use either an annual auto-renewal process or a monthly auto-renewal process with a valid credit card for certifications.
